Eligibility

Eligibility Guidelines for the Wausau Free Clinic: 

  • Health Insurance Status: We only see patients that have no form of health insurance. 
  • Income Guidelines: We only see low-income individuals. We define that as anyone that is at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Please click here to learn more about income levels and if you meet our eligibility guidelines for income level. 
  • Income Documentation Required: The Clinic requires your household income information within 30 days of your first visit so we can provide you with free medications and assist you with other free services. All documents you provide will be kept confidential and only released with your authorization.
Please refer to the forms library on the left-hand side to learn more about acceptable forms of income. If you do not have an income or way to provide your income, we have forms that can be completed instead included in the forms library on the left-hand side.
